He found a new crowd of friends and achieved sm, he even became a ceo. But he didn't feel fully complete because Jooin wasn't by his side. That's why he went back to him because he loves him
that's the changes he developed within himself not the changes he should have went through to be deserving of jooin instead of communicating, apologizing for what he has done, he left korea and he just returned when he realized he still needed him? The character development he obviously needed was therapy, going over what he has done and changing not just for himself but for jooin too, which he clearly didn't show. tbh yahwi as a whole character was underwhelming, not even written nicely, just straight up toxic.
They were asking the character development of Yahwi regarding his situation with Jooin, not what he has done for himself outside Korea. So I don't really get the point of mentioning his achievements if he has done nothing to improve the relationship between him and Jooin during that time skip
Chile.. he did all that but Jooin wasn't accepting any of it Jooin decided to end everything with him and to have Yahwi find himself and be happy with someone else because he felt sm pain being around Yahwi. And ok? Change within himself is what he's suppose to have. He needs to be a better person and happier but he couldn't fully be happy without Jooin so he went back regardless

If change for himself was what he needed then he should have never begged for Jooin to come back to him in the first place Regardless of that change he has, he literally never addressed how on multiple occasions, sexually assaulted jooin, plus how he treated him poorly emotionally and mentally. I know he experienced trauma in the past but that doesn't excuse what he has done to him, and the fact that he literally begged Jooin again instead of building trust, and atoning for what he has done was horrid
