Just tell them in a serious matter you don't like it how they call you and they might stop calling you that way. (of course that would be my way dealing with my parents (〜￣△￣)〜
I've tried that, also said it frustrated as time went by, then started adding sarcasm to it. ... with catastrophic results.

Pretend you don't care.... trust me i had a similar problem when i was younger i got so triggered at school too teachers calling me by my real name and my school mates also teasing me every time they saw my reaction to that and i was triggered all the time xD but now i don't give a fuck im like just call me by whatever you want .My parents loved to see my triggered reaction everytime they called me by that name but now that i dont give a fuck anymore they stopped so xD

what can I do to get my parents to use my name? They keep shortening it. Verbally correcting them doesn't work, I get "you just didn't hear me." "I said it!" then they start saying things that make me feel miserable... and its not like I can leave ....yet....
And I can't just ignore them when they call.... the continuances wouldn't be pretty. should I just stop talking to them when ever they call me by That name? ... not like they'd take the hint....
I'd apriciate any ideas....
