The question is why would he blame Astelle for his misery? Yeah, Astelle dad is jerk but he doesn't do anything on the young Kaizen that time, aside from forcing her daughter to get engaged. So Kaizen had no reason to blame Astelle or her family, if his own family treat him unwell.
