well i mean they gave us 2 whole chapters explaining why Andrew started to like him lol.
Luke is just an attractive and caring guy and they spend a lot of time together being roommates, and i mean Andrew is gay, so its not really hard to develop a sort of attraction/crush. they dont need to know each other for months and years for that either. and on Lukes part its more like a bi panic lol
honestly it has its issues, but i think the pacing is pretty good. we saw both of them spend quite a lot of time with each other, and we even got backstories for both characters. that's already what i would consider good development
HELP it deleted the rest of my comment but yeah that was actually one of the things i didn't like, i hate when authors imply something happened behind the scenes WAY later and not during, making the readers feel blindsided but its a preference ig
art amazing and i love me some tongue but the story and character and relationship progression so lacking like while reading i feel they just met 5mins ago but then author is like "AKTSHUALLY
