YES OMG everyone is so quick to hate and judge a character forgetting that people are literally supposed to be complex and have different personalities!! It irks me sm when people hate on “doormat” or pushover/shy characters when in reality their actions are perfectly rational and they’re justified in feeling that way （/TДT)/

like miscommunication is such an overused trope and its annoying, whatever we all agree on that but its a real ass thing that happens!! and when authors actually GIVE a reason for the miscommunication (take the bbgirl in my pfp for example, hes so insecure bc ash is his first real relationship + literally 0 social skills) it makes sense and is more realistic than other weirdass shit authors pull. ESPECIALLY WHEN THESE CHARACTERS ARE FUCKING TEENAGERS. WHOLE TEENAGERS IN HIGHSCHOOL. do yall not remember how shitty that time was????
its so annoying hiw people will type away, basically harassing a whole drawing without even considering that the character.... has a personality and shit..??? literally saw someone saying dan kim needs to stand up for himself to horse-face as if he wouldnt be beaten and/or thrown out to the curb.
