Legs that won't walk or Shutline are always psychological hits, and I'd say if you want immaculate psychological trauma with a great resolution and a dash of transmigration, go for At the End of the Road (it's shounen ai and awesome).

I dunno if this sent the first time but Warehouse, Stalker's game and Moritat are also psychological! Moritat is pretty ambiguous to understand though, and Stalker's game is quite short - but Warehouse is as dark as heck so you might enjoy it!
