To all asking, one fan (someone buying their work on legal sites) created like an AU kind or thing on twt. Author nim found out and bullied the fan. On which the KR fans follow through. KR fans and the Author think all English readers are illegally reading their work. Author said few racists remarks to none korean fans so there's kind of war that happened. English readers wants the author to apologize to English readers so they're calling them out. Idk if the author apologize already but yeah. He don't like her English readers as much as her KR readers.

Also, author is not good in English. Or don't understand English at all. So she said it's a misunderstanding. But the KR fans that bullied that English fan refused to back down or acknowledge their mistake.

Sorry, I don't care about the drama or whatever (didn't even know there was drama until five minutes ago) but from what I gathered someone was harassed and that's always a big deal no matter the context.
Harassment isn't something you can say "there was some misunderstanding but we made up about it so all is good !" . Especially if the author said it wasn't her business after unleashing her fans.
The author created a situation and is responsible for it, to my understanding people are upset about how she didn't handle anything or took any responsibility.

Stop, it is a big deal that the author came off as xenophobic and racist. Yes she did explain herself but that doesn't justify her actions it hurt her international fans. The author didn't apologize. She just said "sorry if you're hurt but it's not my problem" kind of context in Korean. They didn't" made up" because kr fans are still, to this point, is justifying the harassment the en fan received. There's no misinformation. If the friends of that fan, who got quite a follower on Twitter speak up, the author wouldn't even " try" to apologize. So no, you're the one spreading misinformation here.

Plus I don't understand the witch hunt of illegal sites, it's not like any of us planned to pay anyone to read and personally I only give money when I know I love the story, aka after reading it.
There's only 2 way to make me buy the physical copies, either I loved the story after reading them on illegal sites or I loved the story after reading them in the manga store free samples. And I do buy, I'm a pigeon, I'll always fall for collector versions, but I spend only after assessing that it's something I love. I'm not rich enough to waste money on stuff I don't like
