Author is the same person that did BJ Alex, so this story is following a very similar pattern (bottom falls in love with uncaring top, they have a sexual relationship out of benefit, usually more benefit for the top, bottom finally has some self worth and leaves, top realizes he can't live without bottom, they miss each other arc, forgiveness arc, in love ending)

Yeah I'm wondering the same, there's little indication that Jaekyung even looks at Dan like a normal guy. He kinda just sees the guy that's available for sex at any moment. I remember in BJ Alex they went over why the top treated the bottom (I forgot their names lol) like shit bc of relationship trauma he went through when he was young so I'm wondering if they're gonna do something like that with Jaekyung but honestly he's just a much bigger asshole than the top from BJA ever was

as the other person said BJ alex atleast felt "redeemable", it felt like his character grew as a person, but theres only so much a character can do until they become unredeemable, and even if, in some sort of alternate universe hes able to redeem himself i cant imagine them together at ALL, also dan falling in love with no progress of any sort of change just felt ridiculous, and im not one to mind toxic shit with red flags as long as its well done and fun, but this just feels like clear rage bait porn
