So the husband turned back time but the son is the one who gave up his soul?

Husband and son have the same wish. Son paid for his soul breaking, husband paid by having her fate instead, which is dying in an unknown disease.

Son wanted to see her mother, husband wants his wife back so the conditions are met by having time to turn back when she's alive. The son can travel freely to see her with the price of soul breaking as well as having her live her life once more. Even sorcerers have a limit and can't turn the dead back to life only to have the same fate. Husband turned back time but he chose her to have the memories instead rather than him remembering with the condition that they exchange their fates.

In the end, she is destined to die either way because of a disease so husband agreed to change their fates. He will be the one to live a life that is destined to suffer the same fate as his wife while his wife will be the one to live longer.
