I laughed, I'm sorry. It was so on the nose and predictable I had to laugh. Can't wait to see this top's "redemption" arc. My prediction is that he'll start to hit rock bottom without Dan and become miserable, see him with someone else, get jealous and violent. Then do some savior bs when Dan runs into trouble, they'll reconnect over sexual attraction, the author will throw in some sob story for the top, and voila, he'll magically see the errors of his ways and all is forgiven.
