It happened years ago and while I still have some issues from being in an abusive relationship, I'm completely over that pathetic person lol

I hope so too. I haven't made anything for anyone since. I may be over the person and the trauma they've put me through but the drive to create something for someone else has definitely tempered for me.
Yeah, I saw this coming. I've been in this position myself.
I worked really hard to learn how to bookbind a notebook for that "special someone" and all I got in return was being yelled at and humiliated.
