Yeah, I agree. I don't understand why it's a crime to like it, so many social justice warriors have been getting on my ass about recommending it.

Well, in my opinion, their opinion is invalid if they are trying to force it on me that I shouldn't enjoy this.
Because hell, it's my opinion if I find the chocking scene hot, and no one can invalidate an opinion with another opinion.

but just to defend the others agreement is not that they are saying you should not have the ability to like it, it is just that for some they're only argument for why they defend sangwoo's behavior is the fact that he is attractive, for me this story is insanely good and opens up the conversation of the many perspectives of how one views the characters i.e should sangwoo and Bum get a happy ending. should they stay in a unhealthy relationship because they're both insane, or even the fact of whether we should question how far can the author themselves move this story. For me personally I like sangwoo because he has character depth, every time some shit hits the fan you see a new layer to him, but at the same time you also see he is capable of living a normal life (to an extent since someone has to be submissive) if love is shown. All in all, I think you pose a thoughtful argument, but for the sake of characters on those who roots for those characters there needs to be more than just appearance. But shit, how bout the police officer, sir looks he bout to take it deep (￣∇￣")
LOL, ahh thank you and agh! That's the one point I didn't cover (ppl defending Sangwoo b/c he's attractive) but just know, I'm not grouping them with us because that isn't what I'M trying to defend, hecks no. I agree, it's the layers of his character that we have seen that I am defending and me just wanting a happy ending because I'm super soft. :^) But all in all, my message was mainly targeted at the people who are hating because people enjoy this story even if it's a bit unorthadox, my mistake are failing to touch on your point above. :>
My favorite thing that the author has been able to do with Sangwoo is properly show that part of him when he seems calm but the inner workings of his brain are going full force and he's plotting some shit, like woah. Police boyo is in some real ish for sure.
I suppose I can't say much considering I haven't read any other comments aside from one that was complaining about people's reactions to the story/"defending Sangwoo". And even my own may seem a bit sus but let me clarify some thangs~ I suppose it's not that big of an issue since there are more lovers of this manhwa than haters so :^)
This is how I'm seeing it (from my point of view so I'm definitely not speaking for anyone but myself but if ppl agree, that's lit) But my whole thing with Sangwoo and the situation at hand is that I want him to be normal, I just want him to be happy and stop hurting Yoon Bum but clearly that's not the story (as of now). BUT my biggest complaint with the ppl who are so butthurt about people actually enjoying the story is WHY IS THERE A LIMIT TO IT? Why aren't we allowed to like it? (even if that's not what you're saying) Why aren't we allowed to want to and try to defend a character we've grown mildly attached to? Are we supposed to hate every part of the story because it's revolved around such a serious thing/topic/issue? Ignoring every other FANTASTIC part of it? The art, the atmosphere and genuine suspense it invokes (that and other emotions)? Like lol, I think tf not.
Seriously, in the greater scheme of things if you have a problem with the story, how people react to it, and how people express that then move the fuck on? You most likely aren't going to be pleased. I will outright say that I am INCREDIBLY intrigued by stories as messed up as this one and I WILL get attached and ENJOY probably the most fucked up character of them all, just like many others and I'm worried you're (people who are butthurt) taking it too seriously, us liking Sangwoo is not us condoning his actions even if it seems like it and shit, maybe we are to a story developing stand point, I mean wtf are we supposed to do?
