Exactly, it's like a last minute cop out, and excuse when he was trash towards her and so horrible. Like it's one thing to get a concubine and have an heir but why were you horrible towards her then. Like no one's gonna feel sorry for you.

Why does he make himself look so depressed in that panel where he was walking away from Navier with Rashta?? He's acting as if he was so sad when he was openly harassing Navier, blaming her for stuff, making her cry, vanishing her brother but suddenly he imagines himself as being super sad when he "had to leave her"? What a fucking joke. He wants to the victim so badly
