The beginning felt super icky to me since the consent felt questionable and the male lead as well as the main character seemed like they needed therapy desperately.
But I think this has genuinly been one of the best relationship developments I've seen so far. There are still things that I feel questionable about not gonna lie, but alot of the behavior is very human. I don't think I would have been able to voice alot of my feelings either. No human is perfect and I find it impressive, that the couple could get over their troubles fast and succesfully through communcation.
Anything beyond this might be a spoiler warning so be warned:
I love that he did actually start going to therapy and kept going even after the big make up. Even though subtly, I think it's good that depression and anxiety were a subject in this since clearly the main character had more issues than his gambling addiction. I kinda wish we would have gotten to see the Male Lead go to therapy too.....maybe that's in a side story though.
Did not like the part with the dad. Would not have made that decision, but god knows I'm not him. He did show regret snd I think he did say that he bit off more than he can handle. I think at some point he was simply trapped so deep in it that he couldn't get out.
