i think the only way for Dan to leave is if JK fires Dan himself first. That's how I see it happening. Once JK hits rock bottom, he'll probably blame Dan for messing with his head (being a distraction) and tell Dan he doesn't need him anymore. Dan would have no choice but to leave.
the way i thought about it was dan would literally become homeless bc he doesn't even have a house anymore if jaekyung fires him. he couldn't leave even if he wanted to bc then he'd be homeless and his lil gamgam would rip real quick.

how is it possible for Dan to leave at this point? JK basically owns him and Dan wouldnt just leave knowing he owes a significant amount of debt to JK.
