Excatly, and it’s obvious that the author is trying to make the story more interesting but in reality they’re just throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks. It just makes me wonder if I should stick around to see this unnecessary drama or just wait until after this whole shit smh…

Ngl this arc feels so forced and unnecessary. Talk to your sister, take the inheritance money for your mother, that will give you time to work something else out and stay with the one you love. Instead he's going from the frying pan into the fire for literally no reason other than plot drama.
