Why are Japanese mangas so horrible at romance or revenge stories ಠ_ಠ especially for women. FL will literally have the worst relationship and boyfriend ever, only to be rewarded with another trash playboy ML who, by the way, still has someone else they're in love with.
And the mistress that FL's first boyfriend cheated with, gets a happy ending with another man, and is portrayed as a good person. Bro, she purposefully dated FL's boyfriend, fully knowing how that would hurt her.
I hate how they think that just because they're women, the definition of 'not letting a man get between us' is to be 'besties' even after being an actual home-wrecker. Where is the dignity in all this??? It is so much more pathetic and sexist to believe they'd be good friends after the short-haired blonde bsh did all that. She is a villain and she's not in the slightest bit redeemable for doing what she did to FL.
This does not appeal to anybody's fantasy romance. I understand putting in a few elements of angst and realism in a story, but 99.9% of 'romance' mangas, will always fail to appeal to someone's fantasy.
