My theory is that he tricked her by getting close but saw he wouldn't be able to use her forever, with how strong willed the OG is. So he put those marks on her to take her saint abilities away. To possibly give to someone he can better control
I think the drown in lust matter is to help with the deal with the red headed guy but no idea if she did that herself or not
i have suspicion that priest carl maybe tried to SA her or already did then resulting to that 3 dots idk maybe to mark her or something? or he could be doing experimenting on her, that makes more sense since then she started to drown in lust and did all kind of things a saintess shouldn't do. also, what if priest carl and iris had something to do with one another? what if they have a connection conspiring to evelina getting demoted from her role as the saintess? this is driving me nuts i need spoilerrrr
