In Belgium we have primary school for 6 years, then 6 years of high school :) No middle school at all.
University can go from like 3 to 7 years depending on what you want to study. (Or even more if you want to continue your education after that of course). But mostly it's 3 years 'bachelor'-study at uni, then 1 'master'-year. :)
Hey there! (=・ω・=) Well, it's a little bit different in my country - Bulgaria. This is how it is:
1-4 grade = primary school
5-8 grade = middle school
9-12 grade = high school
Education is compulsory until the age of 16. Also it's up to you whether you attend a kindergarten or not, but before starting primary school you must attend a one-year pre-school program (we call it предучилищна in Bulgarian). I hope I helped. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Here where I live it's the American system (although I'm in UAE), so elementary is 5 years, middle is 3, and high school is 4.
In Puerto Rico:
pre-k (optional) (1year)
elementary school is from kindergarten to 6th grade (7 years)
middle school is from 7th to 9th grade (3 years)
high school is from 10th to 12th grade (3 years)
And as for university bachelor's degrees are 4 to 5 years depending on you major, but some of my classmates have been going at it for 8+ years.
School is mandatory from elementary school to high school.
In Malaysia education is compulsory till we reach the age of 17. We start kindergarten at 4 till 6. Then attend primary school from age 7 till 12. When we reach standard 6 (age 12) we have an important exam call UPSR. The scores we got on the exam lets the 3 high school we've chosen to see whether they wanna accept us. Next we start high school from age 13 till 17, then we graduate. Whoever failed the Bahasa Melayu test needs to attend an extra year in highschool before they can enter form 1 (age 13). Eh....then we get to choose if we want to stay in our high.s to continue form 6 for three years (17-20) then off we go to university! Then the ones who stop high.s at form 5 attends college.
And if it's about university, you can have it in 2 years (i could not find a term which one answers it.) you take classes from home, but you have to go school for exams. (Classes live broadcast on school's website.) Or 4 years, which one is better. (Classic one) It's 6 years for medicine / engineering students. And some of highschools has "preparetory year".
Hello! Umm... this isn't related to manga at all. But I hope you can help me (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
In japan they divide primary school, middle school, and high school by 6, 3, 3 years respectively.
I'm living in Indonesia and the system is the same. (and in university, normally we'll graduate in 4 years)
How about in your country? Is there any difference?
Thanksss
And sorry for my bad English heheh
