I'm a girl and my girl best friend(also a girl) has a crush on me and confessed but she's okay not to pursue on a relationship... I don't know what to say, I don't have romantic feelings towards her and I know I'll treat her the same way as before()feeling a bit guilty here).
I don't and can't know what's on her mind but I have to follow what I really feel - I don't want a relationship... I don't even want anybody to have romantic feelings towards me.
It's really hard on both sides really, but what we really need is just communication.
oh my youre from the ph too! well, although you dont like her the same way, im glad enough to hear that at least you dont treat her poorly after her confessing her feelings :) i dont have anyone that loves me (yet) and so i cannot exactly feel your burden. but just imagining it makes me sigh tiredly. i think it's slightly similar when someone pushes you to do something you dont even like? i may not have experience but that doesnt mean i dont understand it totally. i dont even know what to advice im sorry. i just hope you the best! :( :) and also, if you two wont really 'work out', im pretty sure there's someone else perfect for you two! its not like youre in the age where its too late, right...?

My situation is different though, at the meantime I'm somewhat asexual or a demisexual, or something like neutral. I don't like (me) having a romantic relationship in the slightest, only a platonic i could accept. I get disgusted when having romantic feelings towards me - for now at least. If there's a person that could break that spell then that person has gotta have nerves of steel or has a very strong attitude. xD Hahaha! I'm not an easy person to deal with, romantically speaking.
I see many people here badmouthing takaya like wtf?? How about imagining yourself as a straight guy having a (same sex) precious childhood friend who actually has romantic feelings for you?? However, you can't reciprocate it bc u dont like like him/her (yet)? Yo it was hard for him too, but he handled it pretty well ig? Moreover, I kinda admire takaya for being brave and never running away like he deadass faced momo-chan when things got pretty heated between them. What matters the most is that he finally realized his feelings and shit, and there you goooo a happy ending :)
As for 'senpai'... no matter how much he loved momo-chan, they're just never meant for each other. At least he found someone right for him. He's such a good guy in the story
