Hmm, I am starting to wonder too. But maybe they just automatically assign it to him? Maybe The scent of the second gender only comes out when a dragon gets a physical body. Coz he only reacted to the red dragon's scent after he transformed. Inferna doesn't have a physical one yet = no strong scent to truly tell his gender?
He's actually an alpha?? I was under the impression that he was an omega and that the comic was just tryin to lead us on Σ( ￣□￣||)
