Seth is the god of war of Egypt
He fought countless wars but
After fighting these wars he became cruel in nature
And wanted to rule over Egypt
So he killed the king Osiris, who was his brother
Osiris's wife is Isis who is also his and Seth's sister
They're all children of nut I think
Isis becomes hunted because she is Osiris's wife
Osiris dies and goes to afterlife but he is king there too
Isis has a son Horus who becomes hunted too and together they run to the human village
Isis experiences extreme poverty and humiliation because of Seth
One day when Horus grows up and becomes god (children of god are not god from the start, being god is different.. it's like puberty)
Isis comes back to the place where god's live to take back what was originally Horus's (as Seth took throne but only because he killed Osiris)
And competition between the uncle and nephew starts
They compete in various fields to see who deserves throne

Same but I was already familiar with Egyptian Gods and Mythologies so it was actually easier for me compared to others..
Actually Seth is considered an evil God in Egyptian Mythology lol
To be fair he's rather quite evil here too. The whole point of the r*pe orgies(?) is for him to repent for his wrongdoings.
In the og mythologies too I wanted him to kinda win

I've always supported Isis in OG
Only here in this bl I can understand Seth's pov thats why I don't hate him that much..
But the fact that he killed thousands of women and children just because he lost his mind won't change it and he's facing the punishment for it too.
i really like this story, but l’ll be honest i don’t remember what the original plot of the story was still the art is beautiful and I’ll continue to read it. what mahnet did was so powerful and probably took so much strength from her because she loved her husband, but the love for her sister was stronger, she’s a literal icon.
