Sorry about that I see what you're talking about. But no one is talking about using the broom and dustpan as weapons to attack the dog. We are saying he should have used it to move the key away from the dog and closer to himself. The dog would have felt intimidated regardless of what approached him. However it's SAFER to have an object get close to the dog rather than your body. I won't care if the dog attacks the broom but I will care if it attacks my arm like it did in the story. That's what make the seme a dumbass.
I think they meant to say that, while yes, he was dumb not to use the broom, it wouldn't have matter if the way the broom was viewed by the dog as being a threatening action & object. It would have attacked the broom, but won't be able to reach the person trying to get the artifact. However, while the distance would have been further, if the dog had been trained (as someone has said) or is a vicious dog, as soon as the chain breaks JunSeo would have to react quickly enough to retrieve the key (grab it from the ground) AND run away. Imagine how difficult it is to sweep a key with a broom through the grass, assuming you're able to get it on the first try, to the exact place or vicinity to be able to grab it. Yes, there's a chance that the dog would not have viewed this action as threatening as a person who approaches at a closer distance, but as far as I know, vicious dogs are vicious and they're already barking at you a mile away. Anyways, if we assume it views the broomstick movement as "less threatening" then it wouldn't have reacted as violently. But let's say that isn't the case, or even if it were, and the dog viewed it to be threatening enough to break free of its chains, then the likelihood of JunSeo's not being bitten relies on how fast he can grab the key AND how fast he can outrun the dog, which depends on both his speed and reaction time, as well as the dog's speed, EVEN with the help of the broomstick.
Either way, it's better to have a small chance of escaping without being attacked than no chance. His choice gave him slim to no of not getting attacked.
But hey, the story is shit. Outside of the seme's stupid decision. Why would the owner leave his aggressive dog in his pen while a stranger is going to clean it? Who would have sex on someone else's property when there are cameras around and the owner hates you? How come no one was monitoring the punishment of a minor with an aggressive dog around? ( -_・)?
IDK about you but I smell a big lawsuit. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Thought 1: Love?! Did he seriously asked him that? He's clearly hate f***ing you.
Thought 2: You spent all that money on surgeries because you don't know how to use tools. Long broom > bare hand when trying to retrieve key near dangerous dog.
Thought 3: Yep they deserve each other because I hate both of them.
