I recently reread this a couple days back but i think the source of all these issues that current fl has comes from the fact that she thinks all the love she’s currently receiving is meant for the og Lili. And with having that kind of mindset, she’s filled with deep guilt because it feels as if she stole everything away from og Lili by being reincarnated into her body, this is shown the most whenever she gets into contact w/ people who knew the og Lili (ex. sister, butler, etc.). i think the reason she’s making herself suffer this much is because she’s a huuge overthinker, she has suppressed so many things that she has lost the ability to think rationally and just sees everything in a negative light as if everyone she’s w/ rn in any moment will leave her just like how her other friends left her, and just like how that mind-reading prince also left her, in that sense, she has become reaaaally possessive and now finds it hard to simply “move on”.
TLDR; she thinks she’s underserving of love because she’s not the og Lili, she also thinks that the relationships she has now won’t last and considering her possessive nature that she developed upon losing her loved ones, she cant let the remaining ppl in her life go either. Its frustrating ngl but it’s human.
