This is the worst one though. Up until the match with Ichidai no one has really seen him as a candidate to be the ace. At least in other sports mangas such as haikyuu or yowamushi pedal the MC gets to shine. The day we Eijun with that ace number will be amazing.

I KNOW RIGHT? I usually re-read and re-watch all sports manga/anime but this is one of the few anime that I select which episode to rewatch - THE ONLY ONES WHERE EIJUN SHINES. Jesus christ, this artist needs to start working properly one making Eijun shine man. I also kinda wish that Eijun will become a faster and a better hitter you know? I was kinda hoping that when Eijun hit off of Furuya's pitch was a foreshadow you know?

Hahaha you're funny, but I understand the excitement. Also when I rewatch it is skip all the scenes where Furuya plays well. He isn't a bad character it's just him getting more attention than Eijun is annoying. I agree with you on Eijun getting better at hitting. It would be pretty great to see him hit a home run even as a fluke xD

YES MY POINT EXACTLY. I mean I would actually like Furuya if it weren't for the wrongly directed attention and his strong sense of pride.... lol I guess it sounds like I'm dissing him but yeah!
I use the episode list on wiki to figure out what to watch. But OMG I love the part when he came back from Koshien and threw perfectly in games afterwards. THE THRILL MAN, but then the stupid fan girls were totally oblivious to Eijun's skills == hell
But I kinda want him to become an actually skilled hitter/pitcher. NO FLUKES if you know what I mean.
