not entirely specific to this manga, but I’m so sick of women being used as plot devices and possible sources of conflict in these type of romances. I can’t imagine feeling sympathetic for someone marrying a woman he doesn’t love entirely. A lot of romances between men can perpetuate some crazy misogynistic ideals.
