I definitely believe she would not support it, as she even said she couldn’t understand and refused to understand if that was his taste.
She was trying to confirm if he was truly interested in the child or not but couldn't muster the courage to ask directly if he is a pedophile so she pretended to accept it to sus him out
She would not only accept but encourage his pedofilic behavior? It was her own misunderstanding, but it tells a lot about her if that is her reaction.
