I see this with a LOT of manhwas so... It's very nice to see how diffetent stories have different takes on cliche events like this loll ofc the "chases after her" troupe is SO GOOD I could reread stuff like that 24/7
I would agree if it was his fault and he hurt her but it wasn’t his fault it was caused by others he explained that he knew nothing about the newspapers and not everyone can realize they’re in love with another especially when u grew up distant and think of love as well “ugh cringe”(?) idk how to describe it but he doesn’t want to marry and didn’t even think of marrying. If it wasn’t for that jewel he probably wouldn’t even think smth like “after this is all over I will tell her how I feel” aside from the time he told her if she wanted to know how he felt he will tell her if she asks or whatever.
Plus… he’s under the orders of the empress he can’t really disobey her even if she is his sister in law and even if he is the grand duke.
Also he’s busy dealing with that princess and the jewel she’s using. He doesn’t have much time to go to the MC’s house/he was forbidden from leaving the palace by the empress so he can’t interact with her much and know what has happened yk-
Hann probably forbid her to go to the party for her safety but it seems he planned to let her go to the party which ever one it was (I think the candryan whatever party-)
idk if it's me but if the princess announced their engagement, i want riella to turn her back and distance herself from the duke. i want the duke to chase after her and apologize for the misunderstanding that are coming. maybe i want the chase/regretful arc but that's just me
