KR authors (+fandom in general) are very specific on who tops and who bottoms. Multiple authors have tweeted that their couple are not switch and that readers should look elsewhere if they wanna see that. I imagine this series will be the same along with many other series with power bottoms so it’s useless to complain and don’t get your hopes up #-.-)
It’s kinda shocking to me cause there’s a shit ton of switches, especially in the queer community. So idk where the idea of gay men being strictly bottoms or tops are coming from (I don’t see a-lot of stories with switches).

I think it’s more to cater to the female demographic that consume this genre of media. It’s the antiquated trope that women like to imagine themselves in place of the bottom.

Right. Thats probably also the reason why queer culture, trans people, asexuals and other queer identities aren’t shown. Given the fact that the authors are mostly not queer themselves. Their main focus will be more on the love between 2 (cis) characters than anything else.

*aren’t shown a whole lot. I know there’s mangas that do show them but that’s rare to find.
