I think I just have to give up continuing, the beginning and the potential was really cool. I actually was super interested in the family setup/academy arc but the forest arc fucking sucked. I have never hated an arc and in turn the MC during it so much lol. It's so stupid how he was so edgy but got distracted from the goals. It's as frustrating in the opposite way of when MC's with no talent/personality get the plot handed to them.
*spoilers* Aside from the harem route, at the end, I'm also told like the writing just gets worse..and people have said the manhwa greatly improved the novel source so far because they removed a lot of of the weird/bad writing.
