I think a reason why she is not learning swordmanship is because Lucy's body is way too weak.

Based on some novelupdates spoilers but while she doesn't use her sword manship skill in this life, she does use her tactical ones when a territorial war breaks out after the first prince kills her father so her experience as a Knight commander turned out to be pretty useful anyway.
I know it's weak but doing some simple movement is not going to kill her! It's funny cause in webtoons when a character is weak breathing could kill them lmaoo I mean she rode a horse on a montain her body is fine

Also side note, idk why she isn't learning how to use a sword in this life ?? Like i mean she loved the sword so much! She doesn't even need to be a genius now but just learn it and use it just to train and exercise - idk just a thought
