I agree! like my fave dialogue from this chapter was literally:
“I met you when i was 12.”
“I didn’t see you.”
“I was watching from afar.”
“…what the hell are you talking about?”
RIGHT??mine was when he was describing how he likes watching her boil the vegetables and eggs at the same time.Like,it's such a unserious thing to say considering what they were talking about,but he added that funny bit into the conversation so naturally that I could actually picture someone having that kind of conversation,cause In real life people tend to go off on a tangent or getting distracted by other little details when in a conversation with someone,but I nearly never see it in books or movies ecc.But I love it,I'm so passionate about it if you didn't notice by my completely unnecessary long speech that you wish you didn't start reading
I LOVE them.I'm literally obsessed.And the thing I love the most?Their banter.Like,their conversations just FLOW,and they're all so interesting but mundane at the same time.And that's NOT a given,not many writers are able to create a natural dialogue between their characters that not only revolves around the main topic of the story without making it sound boring or unnatural.But these 2,gosh,I could listen a podcast of them talking
