My job is working in outreach to the mentally ill and homeless. You're heart can absolutely bond with someone after 5minutes of knowing them. Met a girl about my age and in the few house I knew her she had become like my best friend. Seriously felt like I knew her for years. She died the next day from an OD. I cried harder that Lucy did. Some people just have hearts that love others. Lucy is one of them. Instead of whining about it how about trying to be a little more like her. This world needs it.

Except Lucy’s on a quest and at this very moment her friends need her the most. She’s smart enough to know when to put her emotions aside and help the people who NEED her. Fight now grieve later. How many times have we been through this same scenario for her to not know that?

+ She’s also the main character. We shouldn’t have to beg Hiro to make her do something just because she’s more emotional than everyone else. I’ve seen plenty of MCs/Characters get emotional yet fight anyways.
