I prefer him over the overused "nice but not really" trope that MLs tend to have, I actually like the dynamic of MC and ML here.
I dont know why people are complaining when ML is basically putting up with MCs antics and their interactions are funny af (I mean who wouldnt want to tease him).
We all know hes getting his character development soon (He hasnt even done anything bad, just typical student things)
Right like he didn't even do anything. He was minding his business and she started stalking him and trying to use shady potions on him and tease him. And he still somehow nice/civil to her lol
