My greatest pet peeve with books/manhwa are the miscommunication, misunderstanding, and “I’ll-have-him-fall-in-love-and-hurt-him-for-revenge” tropes. Like if you can’t write a story without any of these devices then your story and writing aren’t strong enough to be published. If your story relies on these, the story is weak and could fall apart easily. Like ugh, come up with something original. This was good until all of these clichés were used PLUS him suddenly getting his memories back sucks. I’d have liked it more if ML made him fall in love genuinely the second time, born from romance instead of isolated obsession (which was consensual).
