My friends have said it has been a facade for months. He is secretly a green flag. If you take these facts and go back and read again you will see the situations different and how he is seeking an emotion connection with Dan.
So his additional to the contract is a facade too. Don't take what he said at face value try to understand his meaning. Like when he said he hates flowers. He may hate flowers but he could love flowers. He was mad that someone give Dan flowers. Instead of saying he was jealous "I hate flowers". You have read in-between the lines with him.
He is a tsundere and indirect with his feelings.

In this chapter (44), you will see he is concerned with how Dan has been acting. One of my friends says he is actually a puppy seme. if you read chapter 44 again there would be hints of it. You just have to look at Jaekyung in the right way to understand him but that will not justify or excuse his bad behavior.

I am reading his character as is. I am glad everyone is different and it is not like he has murdered Dan's family or confided him. In real life, there are people worse than Jaekyung ever was or be.
