Seth comes back to fight with Theo and gets shot by the Prince who then tries to finish off Theo. Baby daddy ain’t having it so he barbecues the Prince and his army while the other Prince/older blonde guy??? Runs away back to the emperor. (Don’t worry mommy catches him on the way back because she’s doesn’t know where he thinks he’s going??? What a queen.) Seth is dying in his dragon form and Theo is crying because he’s like “are you too tired? You’re just gonna nap right?” Then the little baby bubbies (protective sprites) come in and do their little dancey dance and turn into Seth’s parents? So Theo hits the bargaining stage of grief at a speed run because he assumes these are angels coming to take his dead soulmate but instead mommy number two is like “do you remember me? I blessed yall being together when I was alive because I can see the future” and he’s like biiiiitch? Jump skip through a flashback and dragon Seth and Theo do a little goodbye because dragon is gone now, disintegrates.

Don’t worry, Seth is alive. The dragon who inhabited him or spiritually carried onto him via bloodline gave its life to keep Seth alive just as the original dragon gave its life to keep the planet alive. The dragons love humans and tend to die for them. The chapter ends with Seth and Theo clinging to each other Notebook style and the emperor being confronted by mommy number one’s hot best friend and the SURPRISE hidden heir to the throne (hot blonde alert) they thought they killed off. It’s a coup! The emperor thought he was one step ahead but was three steps behind.
