That said, I tried to read the novel but can't seems to get into it. It's too slow for my liking. Maybe I need to pick it up back
I really like the novel because the world building and plot is great, but it definitely has slower points in between arch’s. The romance is definitely slow burn but it’s done in a way that makes it realistic.
Does the novel have the same name as the manhwa? Since they sometimes change the names when translating

I get it’s a stylistic choice to draw Kashiar with gloves on but it’s pretty integral to this arch especially that he doesn’t wear gloves. It’s a small thing but I just got stuck in it when reading this chapter
