I believe the point is to show that it’s not as easy to break from the path that Goomoryong (9 Arts Dragon) took. It’s what happens when they become emotionally unstable. They go on a rampage.
adding to that the themes of revenge and loss throughout the story. i do think he is getting better at harnessing black origin though...maybe he will have full control of it soon.
So nice training break but for what? He is an angry kid fighting again. Yes I get it the loss he is feeling is sad but can he for once fight while not having white eyes and steam coming out of his mouth? But look like a real awesome martial artist with a smirk in the face?
