Annoyed by controlling ML

Am I the only one getting annoyed by controlling ML characters and FL just accepting it? After chapter 42 I really think that ML needs therapy and that a simple talk won't solve anything between those two.
FL will most likely just go with his whims even though she knows he is overreacting. Currently I mostly fear for the FL wellbeing when ML keeps up this controlling behaviour.

As someone who finished the entire story, they’ll be perfectly fine. Anyways I can’t blame him when the FL decided to end their relationship on her own and disappear on her own without even speaking to him. He’s basically doing the same thing by making the decisions this time. Either way they end up happy. There should be no reason to fear for her since he’s never done anything to harm her and will never harm her lmfao.

It’s basically the same thought process except ones a man and the other is a woman. She thought one-sidedly what was best for him and made all the decisions by leaving him despite not asking for his opinion. Now he does the same thing and makes decisions for her but he gets blamed lmao

Only that he is controlling her every step. That is also a way of an abusive relationship.
Yes she left without consulting him but that was her decision. You can't force someone into a relationship they don't want (no matter the reasons).
Him controlling her is not the way into a good relationship. No matter her previous actions. I'm not saying she did act all correct in the past but she is not suicidal anymore so his care is way over the top. It is not the right decision for a healthy relationship to strip the partner from every freedom they have.

I don’t understand what you mean by “force someone into a relationship they don’t want.” She was the one who brought up wanting to get back together. Regardless, like I told you- she ends up 100% happy and they work out whatever current issues EXTREMELY quickly. Most of the things he said, end up not actually following through after a proper talk and it all works out well and she is not being controlled right after this. This is the one biggest problem they had and got over. This manhwa tends to skim over issues and easily resolve them- hence the whole time skip of 4 years, of their relationship getting better.

I get you’re wholly focusing on the FL’s well-being, but she was also the cause of him basically having trust issues and possible abandonment issues. His trust was broken. You can’t expect him to be a flawless green flag right away when he was hurt badly by her. I like to point out that FLs can also be the source of problems and miscommunication.

Anyways I just think it’s upsetting to call him a bad ML after all the development after 4 years and stuff he did for her, only for readers to get mad at the one time he doesn’t act nice as if he’s supposed to be good and happy with everything the FL does 24/7. It’s really showing some bias and possible double standards here

I would always be concerned if it was other way round too.
I mean her leaving in the first place was her decision. Yes doing it under pressure of the parents is maybe not the right intention but still better for the result than her mentally being destroyed knowing his father died because of her. As someone that lost their family so early she is scarred in that regard and ML knows that. Her getting in contact with the parents was clearly a wrong decision though as she had an idea what they thought of her regardless of their son's feelings.
I don't know the rest of the story so I can't talk about what will come. I am only talking from the standpoint of the current chapter as this is a really bad red flag there.
