Well he do realize his mistake but I wouldn't really like the idea of forced family. Since what Phil's mom crimes brought to light & the real princess have returned, the noble society would be hostile to Phil.
Nah I like the ending bc it's refreshing abt how not all apologies and regret can be mended especially from family, also she not really cut ties bc at the end she still try to communicate with him with letters. Phil can be happy with his wizards family and the emperor can try to mend his relationship with Phil from zero, that's decent ending tbh
Best ending ever. I love it. You don't have to forgive everyone, even ypur family, for smth like that. I think after all the pressure she deserves a fresh start

I'm sad that she cut ties completely with the emperor and move with the real dad I mean he was a dick to her when she was young but then after sometime he did treat her right or how he thought was right IDC HONESTY I read this to have the family regret but then forgiven type but idk I feel the emperor deserve a lil better
