There are some decent ones out there but objectively they are really not good stories. Most of them are full of over used tropes and weak storytelling. Kind of like horror movies. Most are cheap and dumb but people still watch them cause they re fun.

but that's such an overgeneralization bc that can be applied to basically any genre and medium, no? like tons of action movies follow the same beats, same with shoujo romance manga, etc., it just depends on what u like. like personally, i rly like this manhwa bc of the slice of life vibe and the main characters

Sturgeon's law. 90% of anything is really bad. But i would say with an oversaturated market like manga and anime the percent goes even higher. Needless to say, i like this story too. I just consider it's lacking many things to actually be good.
