Some people just like Taku because he didn’t have the same toxic history like Haesoo and Juwoon did with each other. Taku just felt like a bystander so it was easier to like him. I just love how the author shows the flaws and that people can still end up together even after a toxic history under such circumstances (family forbidding it).
Taku definitely had a fascination and he was starting to love Haesoo I think but it can’t be compared to how much Juwoon had stored in his heart for a decade. The way he was ready to give his career up, the way he and Haesoo interacted gave me butterflies.
Honestly? I used to be a Taku Stan but I was young and immature, I’m 19 now and re read, I dropped it because I didn’t like that Taku wasn’t the endgame. But now that I’m grown, I see that Taku’s like towards Haesoo is incomparable towards Juwoon’s love.
Their bond is so strong that Haesoo ended a perfectly fresh relationship, they both finally went against their parents wishes and remained together in the end. And I think that’s so beautiful.
I’m also glad Taku found someone else, he moved on pretty quick and I wish they showed the new partner. I hope he’s happy with his new partner. He was quite toxic too but he also deserves love. I’m glad he experienced how it feels to be rejected.
One of my fav but reading this was stressful like .. something that i wouldn't re-read And am i only one who doesn't like taku.I feel like he was kinda pushy
