I understand she's trying to protect her family but damn, do you not see it is literally eating him up? He has a shitty ass father and a dead mother who was a fucking addict. AND he just found out that she's dead and his FUCKING sperm donor used that against him twice. In a span of like a few days. Like be fucking for real. You can see he cares about his wife a good amount but you shift the flaws of a parent onto a child who had no control over the situation. Yeah he lied about who his parents were, but you would have never accepted him otherwise. His character should show his worth, not his fucking background.
