There are lots of companies assisting individuals in their job search that are financially supported by the government. Typically for young adults to the workforce, senior workers or those with disabilities. Seyoung as a career counsellor likely searches and reaches out to businesses in which he thinks his client is suitable for, or he just motivates/encourages them towards certain pathways like he did with one woman mentioned n earlier chapters. Employees under companies like this are an extension of the government, so he basically is in a government job. It’s not uncommon, as most governments funnel money towards these programs in order to keep the economy afloat with more workers, more income, more cash circulation.
As for income from his job, it likely is pretty average or lower. But we know Seyoung lives alone in a shabby unit, which could leave a reasonable amount of dispoable income left over for him to spend on gaming. I say shabby because his home consists of only one bathroom and single living space that combines his kitchen, dining, and bedroom together. But I also use the word lightly because everything seems like it’s maintained well, plus he’s never mentioned problems with water electricity and he’s got a kind landlady ahjumma.

Lmao he's been simping from the start lol, but I was like what does this man really do lol, he's spending most of his money on games, without no plan (or maybe he does, but now I'm pretty much sure he won't, his bf can save up lol) and we do live in a materialistic world
He earns pretty decent, since he said he spends almost all his income of one month in the game, I don't remember how much, but it was quite well, also considering he's a government employee, I don't think he should be earning a lot, unless if sk has some other way, and on top he gives career counselling, I'm not sure which government job does that...
