That's basically what it is, they both want him as their personal priest, as their life partner, they refuse marriage and would rather be with Jesse, they go to the ball together because they can't both go together with him, they become friendly for the sake of Jesse's happiness, they are both jealous of Jesse being close to the other but they become allies whenever Jesse gets close to someone else too, it's so… uuugh, they love him so much
ngl i think this series is best enjoyed if you go in with the idea that they both want jesse and he doesn't want either. at least for me, this is the funniest bisexual nightmare
