He r4ped the poor kid because he knows it would hurt both of them and also to show his dominance and power and there he goes, giving him the satisfaction that in fact, it work and now is going to get worse for the MC

This isn't real life, I believe he changed because of the power of love, yes 100% but when its all suffering and the characters don't have other purpose than to live this drama its like....yikes...and I don't mind stories when romance its the main focus but guve them some personalities, goals, ambitions, anything else please.

I'll be honest with y'all complete strangers. I do like when the shitty top ends up with the mc, doesn't matter how awful he can get but I also appreciate some development and here we have none, no for the MC or the prince and that I don't like, sure, make them end up together if you want but also show me something else otherwise is poor storytelling.
