I mean the whole turn humanity against itself thing has proven to be really effective when it comes to destroying the world

The philosophy of it is fine, it's just that the actual plan itself is very vague, which isn't good considering how unnattainable it is without a proper strategy. It'll probably be more fleshed out next chapter though so I'm basically nitpicking right now.
