I thought I was lost in translation. Yeah, sure, the general "technically" just pulled him out of the fire but why are you angry at him? Why aren't you freaking angry that this wouldn't have happened if only the crown prince has a sane mind? Uke would still be technically dead if it hadn't been for the General. The stockholm syndrome is strong not only to the MC(uke) but the TC and PC. Lol.
