At last, I finally have the courage to read this manhwa! Everytime I'm looking for something to read and filter it on drama tag, this is always the first thing I see. And, I have been avoiding it for years now. Idk why, maybe first impression matters to me before.
I feel so dumb when I thought "why's the artstyle like this?" and, yes! I am a dumb-fuck for not thinking right.
When I got to tiktok, I was able to see a damn spoiler, and tell told myself that I'll be reading this. And, I'm really sorry to judge it first
I should've read this before!! I should've done that!! I should've set aside my childish behavior on expecting too much on the artstyle, because honestly speaking now. It's REALLY REALLY CUTE!!!
And, reading this now makes me sob like literally in EVERY CHAPTER!
As expected, shounen ai always have the best redemption arc.
However, I don't wanna call it redemption. Skyler is probably one of the ML that has the horrible and worse parents that I have seen.
A cheater father and a depressed and no progress mother. His mom tried to kill him not once but twice, but still didn't lay a hand or shout on his mom. Instead, he still wanted to see her one last time before she went to the US for good. When I say a character development, this is what I meant to say!
And for Yeonduk, HONEY YOU'RE SO SELFLESS! I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART! YOU DESERVE THE WORLD
I hope both of them find happiness and peace despite what they've been thru for the past years
